Cauldron Lamp
Three printed parts and no hardware at all — a cast-iron-textured pot, a lift-off lid, and a "bubbling brew" insert that sits in the mouth and diffuses a color-changing puck light. Every bubble lights up from underneath. Prints in PLA on a 0.4 mm nozzle.

Get the Files
Files are published on Creality Cloud with both slicer profiles included. Download the 3MF for the fastest path from file to first print — the body and lid come on two plates in one project, and the bubble insert is a separate project with its own finer profile.
Every download through Creality Cloud earns points that help keep my models free and my pages running. If you have an account, downloading from there is the best way to support the work at no cost to you.

Slice It Right
Two different profiles, and both are already saved in the 3MF files. The body and lid share one plate setup with tree supports; the insert gets its own, with a much finer layer height and no supports at all. That fine layer plus a concentric top surface is what keeps the bubble domes smooth — coarser layers terrace them visibly. Print the insert in white or a light translucent PLA so it actually diffuses.
The Light
Sold Separately
The cavity is built around a standard round RGB LED puck light — 59.5 mm across and 8.3 mm tall, the kind sold in three-packs with a 24-key remote for about $20. Aluminum housing, USB powered, with an inline switch on a 1.5 m lead, and 16 colors plus four gradient modes. One three-pack lights three cauldrons.
Set the puck in the bottom of the pot, run the lead out under the rim, and rest the insert on top. Any puck up to 59.5 mm across and 8.3 mm tall drops straight in — there is room to spare, so smaller is fine. Much taller and it will lift the insert off its seat.
The light changes color, not the print. The insert is a white diffuser, so whatever you set on the remote, the brew follows.
