Fidget Pumpkin

A fidget toy that keeps your hands busy at your desk. Sitting flat, twist the stem for mesmerizing designs or push and pull it side to side for different visuals; lift it up and the rings drop into a cone. The stem is textured for a tactile feel, and raising and lowering it on the desk makes a satisfying sound.

Every Move Gives It A New Look

Eighteen nested rings hang from one textured stem, so whatever your fingers do, the rings follow — and it all comes off the plate as one print.

Twist And Slide
Leave it flat on the desk and twist the stem: the rings shift against each other into mesmerizing designs. Push and pull the stem from side to side for a whole different set of visuals.

Lift It Into A Cone
Raise it by the stem and the rings drop into a scalloped cone. Lower it back to the desk and it makes a satisfying sound as the rings settle. The stem is textured, so it has a tactile feel under your fingers.

Prints In Place
All 18 rings and the stem come off the plate already captured inside each other — nothing to glue or snap together. The gap between rings grows from about 1 mm at the stem to about 2 mm at the rim, so the outer rings still move freely.

Slice It Right

These are the settings the pumpkin in the photos was printed with, on a Creality Hi 2 with a 0.4 mm nozzle. The 3MF carries the full profile — open it in Creality Print or any slicer that reads 3MF projects and it is ready to go.

Three colors, two filament changes. Black ring bodies, orange faces and a brown stem: 5 h 2 m and 127.35 g for the whole plate, and only 2.84 g of that is purge and prime tower. Leave room beside the pumpkin for the tower.

It prints flat, just as it rests, 179.4 × 173.6 mm across and 44.8 mm tall with the stem, with no supports and no brim.
