What's Included

One Piece, No Hardware

Nothing to assemble and nothing to fasten. It comes off the plate finished and stands on the desk the same way it stood on the printer.

A Taper, Not A Clamp
The channel narrows as it goes down, so the laptop settles into the width it needs instead of being gripped at one fixed size. Anything up to 25 mm thick.

On Edge, Not Flat
A closed laptop lying flat covers the desk and traps its own heat against it. Standing it up gives the desk back and leaves both faces open to the air.

Prints Upright
It prints standing the same way it stands on the desk, so no overhang needs holding up — no supports at all. 4 h 39 m, 156.85 g.

Print Settings

Slice It Right

One plate, one part, already configured in the 3MF. It prints standing upright — the same way it stands on the desk — and needs no supports at all. Leave the brim on: the footprint is narrow for a part this tall, and the first layer is what holds it steady for four and a half hours.

10% gyroid is plenty for a closed laptop. If you are standing something unusually heavy in it, take the walls to 4 or 5 rather than raising the infill — it costs less time and does more.
