Megalodon Tooth Stand

My son-in-law loves megalodon teeth, but a real one runs into the hundreds of dollars — so he printed one, and it ended up lying flat on a shelf looking like a printed part rather than a fossil. This is the stand I designed to fix that. A pair of arms hold the tooth point-down, echoing the way it sat in the jaw, and a counterweighted support lets it lean forward for viewing without tipping. Nothing grips or glues to the tooth.

The stand itself is an original design, modeled from scratch rather than derived from anyone's mesh, and carries no obligations of its own.

Slice It Right

The cradling arms overhang, so tree supports on auto at a 30° threshold are part of the shipped profile — about 1.5 g of support that twists off by hand. One piece, no hardware, and no filament swaps. Sliced and printed on a Creality Hi with a 0.4 mm nozzle.
