¹ Filament estimate — Calculated from STL volume using simplified wall, top/bottom, and infill geometry. Accuracy is typically ±10–15% of slicer output. Variance increases when supports, a brim, skirt, or non-standard infill patterns (e.g. gyroid vs grid) are used, as these are not modeled here. Manual volume override bypasses the STL parser entirely — use your slicer's reported model volume for best results.
² Print time estimate — Derived from estimated path lengths and the print speed set above. Perimeter moves are modeled at 75% of print speed; travel at 3×; layer changes add ~2 s each. Accuracy is typically ±20–25% of actual slicer time. Factors not modeled include printer acceleration/jerk limits, pressure advance, cooling pauses, supports, and firmware look-ahead. High-speed printers (e.g. Bambu, tuned Klipper) spend proportionally more time accelerating — set the speed slider to your average speed, not your peak speed, for a closer result.
