Jack-o-Lantern Tea Light

A 76mm pumpkin that lights all the way through, not just at the eyes — because a printed vase-mode diffuser sits under the lid and spreads the flicker. Three prototypes and two diffusers to get right. One-color and two-color plates both included.

The printed jack-o-lantern lit from inside by an LED tea light, its eyes, nose and mouth glowing orange on a maple desk

Slice It Right

Tree supports are on in the 3MF and the mouth needs them — the two settings that matter are a 0.24 mm support Z gap and a 3-layer interface, which is what stops the teeth snapping off during removal. The diffuser prints separately in vase mode. A translucent or light filament carries the glow best.
